AVON VALLEY PLANT & EQUIPMENT
Servicing the Wheatbelt & Beyond!
We have proudly delivered civil works on bridges throughout WA from Halls Creek to Hopetown.
Our capabilities range from simple rock pitching and shoulder widening, to full bridge demolition and reconstruction.
Temporary access roads:
A temporary diversion road around a bridge is important to facilitate heavy maintenance or reconstruction. Often an access road is the safest and most efficient method for both public traffic access and crews working onsite. In the case of heavy storm damage, emergency access roads can be the only way to keep important transport routes open.
Our team has experience in constructing and removing both dual and single line diversion roads including the installation and removal of culverts, sealing and line marking

A lot of road upgrades throughout WA are now replacing the traditional timber stringer beam bridges with precast or in situ box culverts or pipes. We have great experience in the installation of small or large culverts with a wide variance in design specification. From the installation of screw pile base slabs and large box culverts to smaller HDPE pipes our team can do it all.

Bridge Demolition:
Safe and efficient deconstruction of ageing bridge structures is a very important component of any bridge project.
Our team has come up with an innovative way of removing concrete bridge decks, piers, abutments and wing walls that has proven safer and more efficient then traditional methods. We can also reprocess or recycle concrete waste on site to avoid expensive tip fees and difficult disposal of large masses of concrete and rebar. This is also far more sustainable from an environmental point of view.
Wing Wall Construction:
Proper wing wall design is critically important for the stability of the approach slab batters and for important erosion control. We can also facilitate the construction of insitu concrete wing walls both large and small.
